Flying the Flag in the Solent: Strathclyde Crews Shine at BKL Finals
In September 2025, CCYC backed two University of Strathclyde teams as they raced in the British Keelboat League finals in the Solent. After 21 races over three windy days, they earned 12th and 13th placean impressive result on unfamiliar waters.

Tarbert Race 2025
First held in 1894, the CCYC Tarbert Race boasts a rich history with notable past winners such as Bloodhound, Mariella, and Sceptre. This prestigious event is open to various classes of racing yachts, each with specific handicaps and flags. The Corinthians recognize the desire for short-handed racing, and thus, Class V is open to boats with two crew members, enjoying certain privileges such as motoring through the narrows at the Burnt Islands without penalty and

Round Shuna Weekend : 31st August - 1st September 2024
2 Corinthians, once placed a bet on who could sail fastest round the island of Shuna, in the direction of their choice with the prize, a case of champagne. Join us for this unique white sail pursuit race which is open to sailing boats of all shapes, sizes and speeds, to see who will be first boat home and claim the champagne. There will be feeder races from Oban and Ardfern on Saturday

Loch Aline Muster - Saturday 20th July 2024
Join us for an informal muster for members & friends at the pontoons in the beautiful Loch Aline, The Club will arrange barbecues and a certain amount of food and refreshments, based on expected numbers, but please do bring more. Please let the club office know by the evening of Thursday 18th if you intend to join so we can cater accordingly. BBQ will be fired up for around 18.00.
