Join us in Rothesay Bay on Saturday 26th June for the original Tarbert race and cruising rally.

First held in 1894 the CCYC Tarbert Race has a rich history, with past winners including Bloodhound, Mariella and Sceptre.

Open to all, the race has 5 classes, including one for double handed crew who enjoy the dispensation of being allowed to motor-sail through the Burnt Isles and use an autohelm.

If 2 or more wooden boats compete there will also be a prize for the first wooden boat home.

And if you'd rather cruise rather than race, there is a trophy for the CCYC member who, sailing from anywhere in the world. arrives at Tarbert closest to 15.30 on Saturday 26th June.

We traditionally meet for a ashore on arrival in Tarbert, however due to prevailing Public Health restrictions and our wish to Respect the Destination there will be no formal social ashore this year.

For full information and SIs please see the 2021 Programme and Sailing Instructions.
