First held in 1894, the CCYC Tarbert Race boasts a rich history with notable past winners such as Bloodhound, Mariella, and Sceptre. This prestigious event is open to various classes of racing yachts, each with specific handicaps and flags. The Corinthians recognize the desire for short-handed racing, and thus, Class V is open to boats with two crew members, enjoying certain privileges such as motoring through the narrows at the Burnt Islands without penalty and using auto helms throughout the race.
