Flying the Flag in the Solent: Strathclyde Crews Shine at BKL Finals

In September 2025, Clyde Corinthian Yacht Club (CCYC) was proud to support the outstanding efforts of the G&S Racing Strathclyde and Strathclyde University crews as they battled their way into the final of the British Keelboat League, held in the iconic waters of the Solent.

Across three gusty and demanding days, both teams took on up to 21 races each, competing against 14 elite crews from across the UK. Despite the unfamiliar conditions, they held their own and secured impressive 12th and 13th place finishes an achievement that speaks volumes about their skill, resilience, and teamwork.
